Medical
Journal of Therapeutics Africa (MJoTA) was started as a medium for showcasing
medical writing talents of working medical writers. Health concerns in
Africa and African communities was the focus of the journal because
positive stories about African professionals are rarely seen in
European and American presses. Our mission statement is to link African
professionals with other professionals both in and out of Africa.
Why
Africa?
because we all came from Africa: recently, a few years ago, a
few centuries ago, a few millenia ago... we all came from Africa.
because the whole world trades with African countries Global
pharmaceutical companies in the United States, China, India, South
Africa make drugs for East Africa and West Africa, the United States
and Europe take its herbal remedies.
because large numbers of Africans have migrated into the United States and become citizens and are increasingly being elected to represent American citizens in local and national governments.
